HVAC Operations Manager - PrideNow : Job Details

PrideNow is hiring for an Operations Manager in Freeport, NY for a proven leader in the HVAC/R management space, offering commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and supervise a team of office employees and approximately 16 field technicians.
• Coordinate and schedule service calls, installations, and maintenance appointments efficiently and effectively.
• Ensure timely dispatch of field technicians to client locations, optimizing routes for maximum productivity.
• Monitor technician performance and provide coaching and support as needed to maintain high-quality service standards.
• Handle customer inquiries and concerns promptly, striving to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Oversee inventory management and procurement of necessary parts and equipment.
• Monitor board to locate technicians and dispatch them to job sites to maximize efficiency.
• Collaborate and respond to other departments to ensure they receive the information requested promptly.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Solid HVAC technical knowledge and understanding of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• Ability to review and prepare quotes/proposals.
• Proven experience in dispatching and scheduling within the five boroughs, Long Island, and Westchester areas.
• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, oral and written.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in computer systems and software, including dispatching and scheduling software.
• At least 10 years prior experience in a related managerial or supervisory role is desirable.
