Reporting directly to the HR Manager, you will collaborate directly with the HR Manager to support plant training programs by coordinating, enhancing, maintaining, and facilitating training for all plant employees. Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the administration and facilitation of plant training programs including new hire orientation, JSM management and other compliance related training.
  • Assists with the coordination of internal/external training resources.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of training records of all employees in Alchemy and other recordkeeping databases.
  • Assist the Plant HR Manager in the implementation of training programs and initiatives.
  • Partners with our USA Campus & Training Academy Manager to form relationships with local educational institutions to build a talent pipeline for internship opportunities.
  • Participate in the recruitment and hiring of hourly employees including attending job fairs and other hiring events.
  • Coordinates the onboarding process for all employees. Conducts new hire orientations to educate employees on policies and procedures.
  • Manage, monitor, and audit employee performance evaluation program (new hires, job transfers, annual evaluations). Partners with Managers and Supervisors to ensure all employees have met training requirements and all records are up to date.
  • Deliver routine reporting and data analysis. Respond to ad hoc data requests.
  • Serve as backup to payroll, ensuring the accuracy of timecards, pay data and other payroll related information. Effectively utilize Kronos UKG (for payroll/timekeeping) and other HR systems. Responds to Federal, State and Local inquiries as needed.
  • Promote an engaging culture through positive interactions with all employees, including a presence on the plant floor. Proposes programs to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction. Serves as HR representative on plant engagement committee.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in human resources or related field preferred, associate degree in human resources or similar field or a minimum of (2) years related work experience in HR is required.
  • Human Resources Certification a plus but not required
  • 1-3 years Human Resource experience
  • Experience with HRIS systems, Paylocity and UKG preferred.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and effectively handle highly sensitive and personal information with sound judgment, tact, and discretion.
