Job Summary The HR Generalist plays a critical role in the success of the Human Resources function at IES Residential. Assigned to a designated multi-state territory of IES Residential divisions, the HR Generalist supports an HR Manager by executing a wide range of tactical and transactional responsibilities across the employee lifecycle. From onboarding and employee record management to employee relations support and HR compliance, this role helps deliver responsive, confidential, and high-quality HR service to internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees and site leadership, providing timely support on routine HR matters, such as pay and position changes, and employment verifications.
- Coordinate and process all new hire paperwork, including offer letters, drug screenings, and background checks, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Support the HR team in addressing compliance requirements, compensation/benefits questions, and policy interpretation.
- Conduct periodic audits and updates of employee files and records, ensuring compliance with IES Residential protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with compliance-related audits such as I-9 audits, MVR checks, and driver's license verifications.
- Collaborate with the corporate benefits team to provide frontline support for employee inquiries related to medical, dental, vision, life, supplemental insurance, and 401(k) plans.
- Contribute to the successful implementation of HR initiatives and projects.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to support consistent and effective HR service delivery across all supported divisions.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity in handling sensitive employee matters.
- This is an in-office role.

Minimum Education High School Minimum Years of Experience 2-4 Specific Qualifications Education & Certification
- 2 years of previous Human Resources experiience preferred.
