Additionally, Trailborn has a robust pipeline of properties opening in 2025 and 2026 including Mendocino, California.About Our ValuesWe believe in HEART – Honesty, Excellence, Action, Results and TeamAbout Our RoleThe Human Resources Manager will oversee the full human resources cycle for our West Coast properties, ensuring effective HR practices, compliance with regulations, and alignment with organizational goals. This role involves fostering a positive workplace culture, managing employee relations, and supporting operational needs through strategic HR initiatives.EssentialFUNCTIONSHR Strategy and Compliance
- Maintain HR policies, standard operating procedures, and programs in alignment with corporate objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Employee Life Cycle Management
- Coordinate and facilitate employee onboarding, training, and offboarding processes
- Recruit, attract, develop and retain employee talent to support overall business needs
- Review job descriptions, job postings and interview questions, creating a database for all future recruitment
- Manage employee relations, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts effectively
Benefits Administration
- Administer employee benefits programs and ensure clear communication to employees
- Provide assistance to employees regarding their benefits, including troubleshooting issues and answering questions
- Data Management and Reporting
- Maintain and audit employee records and data systems to ensure accuracy and confidentiality
- Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports for management review
Training and Development
- Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and performance
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development
- Monitor and support leadership on personnel development, reviews and action plans
Communication and Culture
- Promote a positive work environment and engage with employees to support morale and productivity
- Maintain an open-door policy to encourage employee feedback and address concerns
- Participate in the development of all employee morale, community and culture programming
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of California employment laws, including wage and hour regulations, leaves of absence, and compliance requirements.
- 3 years of experience in human resources management, preferably in a multi-site environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now is a plus).
