What You'll Be Responsible For

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to drive hiring strategies across locations.
  • Lead onboarding processes that set the right tone from day one.
  • Support workforce planning and organizational changes aligned with operational goals.

Employee Relations & Workplace Culture

  • Be a trusted, visible HR partner to plant leadership.
  • Address employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and conduct investigations.
  • Ensure consistency in policies, communications, and disciplinary actions across sites.
  • Help create a respectful, inclusive workplace where employees feel supported and informed.

Compliance & Policy Administration

  • Maintain full compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Conduct thorough, compliant investigations.
  • Collaborate with EH&S to ensure safety communications are clearly understood by all employees.

Training, Development & Performance Management

  • Develop and deliver HR training sessions.
  • Customize and manage LMS configurations.
  • Support leadership development, performance management, and succession planning initiatives.
  • Coach plant leaders on employee development and performance conversations.

HR Metrics & Systems

  • Track and report on key HR metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure system data integrity.
  • Partner with Payroll to ensure proper classification and wage compliance

What We're Looking For

Required

Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of progressive HR experience, including multi-site or multi-state support.

Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws.

Demonstrated success handling employee relations, investigations, and coaching.

HR experience in manufacturing or hourly workforce environments.

Familiarity with HRIS platforms and LMS tools.

Ability to manage multiple priorities with independence and attention to detail.

Preferred

PHR, SHRM-CP, or California-specific HR certification.
