JOB TITLE - HR Manager

JOB SUMMARYTheHuman Resources Manager is responsible for division-wide human resourcesplanning and development and will recommend strategies and develop action plansin support of the company's goals and objectives. She/he will be working in afast-paced, non-unionized setting. The incumbent will perform human resourcesrelated duties at the professional level and may carry out responsibilities insome or all of the following functional areas: organizational development,compensation, training, employment, health and safety, benefits, and employeerelations.

Essential FunctionsProvide a broad range of consultative services regardinghuman resource policies and processes. Must have at least 10 years ofexperience/knowledge of CA law. Administer various human resources plans and procedures forall division personnel.Ensures that all compensation policies are administeredaccurately and effectively as specified by the plan documents and legalstatues. Participate in developing department goals, objectives, andsystems.Drive people processes and ensure workforce contentedness.Evaluate reports, decisions, and results in relation to established goals.Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continualimprovements in efficiency of department and services performed.Serves as the equal opportunity employment and affirmativeaction expert and responsible for taking action upon receipt of complaint inregards to investigating complaint, communicating the findings and takingcorrective action as required.Help leadership teams to maximize individual, team andprocess performance.Facilitate communication across the division providingguidance to employees and leaders on problem solving, dispute resolution,regulatory compliance and litigation avoidance.Partner with employees and management to communicate variousHuman Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and governmentregulations. Ensure the division possesses a strong ability to effectivelymanage cooperative approaches toward issue resolution and administration.Lead the division in managing all aspects of the employeelife cycle, including entering requisitions, reviewing applications to matchexperience with specific job-related requirements. Interviewing, screening, andrecruiting job applicants to fill entry level, professional and technical jobopenings. Preparing employment offer letters.Facilitate and/or provide training (including orientation)to the workforce.Respond to employee relation issues such as employeecomplaints, harassment allegations, and civil rights complaints.
