Bartlett Tree Experts is looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate must promote a positive work ethic, be extremely flexible, and demonstrate the ability to champion and implement change while being a strategic partner with our field staff. The candidate must be able to anticipate and analyze problems, resolve issues through creative problem-solving, and manage multiple assignments and changing priorities.Candidates must possess excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication and presentation skills. • Partners with the Director of Human Resources and HR team to understand and execute the organization's human resources strategy.
• Provides support to management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodation, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
• Identifies learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
• Participates, when needed, in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
• Reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
• A minimum of three years of Human Resource Management experience is preferred.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.
