Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic HR Manager to join our team and wear many HR hats. This role requires a seasoned generalist with expertise in HRIS systems, employee benefits administration, and HR operations. You will be balancing day-to-day employee support with compliance, data integrity, and systems implementation.

Responsibilities:

Generalist & Employee Relations

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee HR inquiries and guidance.
  • Supporting investigations and disciplinary actions.
  • Knowledgeable understanding of current labor laws (EEO, FMLA, ADA, etc.).
  • Managing leaves of absence, documentation, and employee audits.
  • Understand workers compensation and unemployment claims processing.
  • Support global HR initiatives across regions including LATAM, EMEA, and APAC.

HRIS Administration

  • Own and manage HRIS platforms and day-to-day administration to ensure accurate employee data, reporting, and integrations with payroll and benefits systems.
  • Lead or support HRIS system upgrades and new module implementations.
  • Drive process improvements and automation within HR systems to reduce manual work and increase efficiency.
  • Ensure data integrity across all integrated platforms (e.g., payroll, benefits, ATS) and lead regular audits to maintain clean, reliable records.
  • Train HR team and managers on system usage, dashboards, and self-service tools.
  • Partner with multiple vendors for technical issues and enhancements.

Benefits Administration

  • Oversee Employee perks, awards and recognition program.
  • Administration of 401(k) plans with understanding of annual audits and compliance.
  • Understand open enrollment planning, communication, and execution.
  • Liaise with vendors and brokers for renewals, escalations, and plan design discussions.
  • Ensure compliance with ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, and COBRA requirements.
  • Assist employees with claims issues and benefits-related questions.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and ensure proper documentation and audit readiness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Related certifications in SHRM or HRCI is a plus.
  • 57 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years managing HRIS and benefits.
  • Solid knowledge of U.S. labor laws; international HR exposure is a plus.
  • Strong working knowledge of major HRIS systems.
  • Excel wizardry is a must (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, conditional formatting).
  • Effective communication and delivery.
  • Strong understanding of employment and payroll regulations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative HR team.
  • Comfortable juggling high-volume work with tight deadlines.
  • Bi-lingual is a plus but not required.
  • Must be able to work at the corporate office on site daily. Hybrid work is not an option.
