We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Human Resources Manager to oversee HR functions and support our growing team. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth HR operations while fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and leadership, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Insperity (PEO) for payroll, benefits administration, tax compliance, background checks, and other HR-related services.
  • Stay updated on employment laws and ensure company policies remain compliant with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Assist with employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and investigations as needed.

Payroll & Benefits Administration

  • Verify biweekly payroll data and submit final reports to Insperity for processing.
  • Act as a liaison between employees and Insperity for payroll questions, benefits enrollment, and claims resolution.
  • Manage leave requests (PTO, FMLA, disability) and coordinate with Insperity as necessary.

Talent Acquisition & Employee Engagement

  • Assist with recruitment efforts, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Work with hiring managers to define staffing needs and support a smooth hiring process.
  • Develop initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture.
  • Coordinate training and development programs to support professional growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of HR experience , preferably in a small to mid-sized company.
  • Familiarity with PEO models (Insperity experience a plus!) and outsourcing HR functions.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, benefits administration, and employment laws .
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
