Job Position: Human Resources Assistant
Location: New York, NY
Shift Timing: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
Purpose of Position:
- To ensure success as an HR associate, you should have excellent communication skills, good interpersonal skills, and a good understanding of employment law. Ultimately, a top-notch HR associate is well-organized, efficient, and approachable.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities include using Excel and Access, creating complex presentations using PowerPoint, creating charts and graphs using various database information.
- Other duties include assistance with training class scheduling, ensuring proper classroom setup, creating surveys, and performing general administrative duties such as answering phones, ordering supplies, and making travel arrangements.
- Communicating with potential job candidates.
- Contacting candidate references and verifying education listings.
- Managing HR records including, r sum s, applicant logs, and employee forms.
- Issuing employment contracts and verifying completion.
- Issuing new employees with enrolment documents.
- Conducting employee orientations.
- Explaining employee benefits.
- Responding to HR-related queries within the company.
- Maintaining employee confidentiality.
- Assisting with the distribution of training material.
Skills: Two years experience
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree Required: Completed High School (Diploma or GED)
