HR Generalist – Bilingual (Spanish)

Contract Role

Position Overview

We are looking for a bilingual HR Generalist fluent in Spanish to join our team on a 4-month contract. This role supports a diverse workforce and requires strong experience in union environments. You'll play a key role in employee relations, compliance, and HR operations while helping maintain a positive and inclusive workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a primary HR contact for Spanish-speaking employees.
  • Support labor relations and union contract administration.
  • Assist with grievance handling, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Facilitate onboarding, benefits enrollment, and employee training.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate HR documentation and support audits.
  • Partner with leadership on employee engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Union experience
  • Minimum 3 years of HR experience, preferably in a unionized setting.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (verbal and written).
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and union practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Contract Details

  • Duration: 4 months

Pay Range: $32 to $38 per hour
