He/she is expected to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with all functional groups within the organization. He/she is expected to work diligently and efficiently, with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail, demonstrating excellent organizational skills. The individual must have experience with and be able to appropriately handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality at all times. An in-depth knowledge of legal requirements to ensure regulatory compliance is required.
The individual must possess advanced computer proficiency, including extensive experience and training with Microsoft Office programs as well as Human Resources Information Systems. He/she must be able to perform multi-faceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities with frequent interruption. Must be results- and people/service-oriented, demonstrating sound judgment and the ability to balance business priorities effectively. Must maintain a high energy level and a high concern for people. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Experience and/or Education
3+ years of HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing or similar environment. Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field. HR certification a plus. Experience with HRIS systems; Workday preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents and statues from jurisdictional agencies and governmental units, procedure and policy manuals and contracts or agreements. Ability to write instructions, operating procedures and routine reports and correspondence. Her/she must have the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, government and regulatory agencies and employees of the organization.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding and create instructions, reports and analysis from data or statutes furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Interpret and apply laws and regulations to situations. Ability to negotiate agreements with other business entities.
Superior interpersonal abilities. Ability to coach and manage employees at all levels through difficult situations, ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve issues using judgment consistent with the organization's preferences and priorities. Ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful, mature and flexible. Good reasoning abilities. Sound judgment and resourceful. Ability to establish credibility and be decisive.
