Our client is currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist for their Manufacturing facility located near Mobile AL. The HR Generalist will help meet the goals and objectives of the organization by maintaining, supporting and enhancing the organization's talent, culture and functional excellence, while building a strong partnership with the business leaders. They will have responsibility to execute HR processes, policies and programs. This is a Monday-Friday position supporting roughly 150-160 employees and reports into the site HR Manager. This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Implement and administer programs and policies that comply with organizational values, labor laws & regulations
- Administer talent Acquisition, Onboarding, and Retention following all Federal, Local and Company requirements, including understanding resource competition.
- Employee and labor relations
- Affirmative action and equal employment compliance
- Time Keeping reviews, updates and payroll changes/corrections
- Organize, maintain and update employee files including HRIS systems
- Provide support for Total Rewards, Compensation and Benefit Programs
- Support the execution of the Performance Management Process
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or similar field
- 3+ plus years related experience in a manufacturing organization
- SHRM or PHR certifications a plus.
- Solid working knowledge of HR processes and related manufacturing.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Teams and Outlook.
- Exceptional time management and organization skills.
