We are seeking an HR leader with a passion for people, strategy, and growth. A well-established California-based law firm is seeking a Director of Human Resources to join its executive team. This is a rare opportunity to make a meaningful impact at the leadership level of a multi-office law firm.

About the Role:

As the firm's HR Director, you will oversee operations across 12 offices, supporting a team of 120 total employees. This is a people-centered, strategic role working closely with managing partners and office managers to drive performance, culture, and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with firm leadership on attorney performance management, including setting guidelines and conducting evaluations
  • Oversee and support office managers and attorney management across all locations
  • Lead the firm's marketing initiatives in partnership with key stakeholders
  • Attend and prepare for firmwide management meetings
  • Direct recruitment strategy and disciplinary actions
  • Oversee insurance liability coverage and risk-related policies
  • Supervise the Controller and IT Department, including cybersecurity protocols
  • Manage event planning and safety program compliance across all offices
  • Champion the firm's technology upgrades and process improvements
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and open communication

Ideal Background:
