Position SummaryGelfand, Rennert & Feldman isseeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team of dedicated professionals. The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for providing general clerical and customer service support for the HR department, as well as direct administrative support for HR Managers and the Chief Human Resources Officer. This position can be based out of White Plains, NY on a hybrid basis. This is a great training opportunity for anyone who wants to grow in their HR Career.Primary ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and execute onboarding and orientation of new hire groups according to the firm onboarding calendarSupport onboarding task compliance process. Send reminders related to incomplete onboarding tasks and follow up with employees to ensure completionHost new hire orientations in the White Plains and 5 th Ave officesFacilitate background checks for prospective new hires once offers have been accepted.Administer candidate assessments for various positionsAssist in updating several large spreadsheets in an environment of continual change while employing a great degree of attention to detail to ensure data accuracyAssist the Career Development team with the employee evaluation processes and performance reviews.Assist HR Managers with employee data changes in ADP such as, salary changes, promotions, transfers, supervisor changes, title changes, terminations, schedule changes, etc.Manage offboarding of employees by ensuring terminations are submitted in HRIS and appropriate offboarding procedures are followed, and information is sent to exiting employeesFind opportunities to improve and streamline HR administrative processesAssist in project management for HR initiatives and programsOther duties as assignedQualifications:High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required; Bachelor's degree is preferred2+ years experience in a similar role is required; 3+ years in a similar role is preferredAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointExperience using ADP Workforce Now and Workday is a plusExperience administering LOA paperwork is a plusStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills to create and maintain a trusting relationship with staff and stakeholdersAble to work independently with little supervisionAble to juggle multiple responsibilitiesAble to act in a confidential capacityThis is a non-exempt, overtime eligible position. The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $54,995 - $65,000 . Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.Candidate information, including education and work experience, is verified upon an offer of employment.
