Overview

The HR Coordinator performs a variety of administrative and HR-related services to support the basic HR functions of the facility. The role may include cross-training to perform other tasks within their responsibilities as dictated by the Administrator. The HR Coordinator should be familiar with HR policies, procedures, and applicable laws. This person will support our home health ancillary services.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Manage the timekeeping system and assist in labor management.
  • Handle hiring and onboarding processes, including recruiting, interviews, background checks, scheduling drug screenings, and orientation.
  • Assist with employee investigations and make recommendations regarding hiring, counseling, and disciplining employees.
  • Utilize various software programs related to recruiting, timekeeping, and reporting.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all employees personnel files in accordance with federal and state regulations and policies.
  • Ensure staff completes required training and in-services, and communicate policies effectively.
  • Provide weekly reports and maintain good communication with corporate HR staff.
  • Be prepared for cross-training to perform other tasks within the scope of the business office, as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
  • At least two years of experience in payroll, timekeeping, and recruiting in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred.
  • Experience in payroll processing is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
