- Provides human resources guidance to employees regarding policies, procedures, benefits and systems; referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Acts as HRIS administrator ensuring data accuracy and permissions for all modules.
- Oversees the integrity of employee data across platforms and partners with HR team members to process updates, troubleshoot issues and flag discrepancies early.
- Generates reports for HR and bank-wide management as requested.
- Provides technical support for end users in all modules to ensure compliance.
- Processes and submits biweekly and unscheduled payrolls in coordination with HR team.
- Completes payroll reporting and after pay reconciliations.
- Submits quarterly payroll and statement of tax filing reports to Finance.
- Administers employee benefit plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Serves as resource for benefit-related employee inquiries and requests for assistance.
- Assists with annual open enrollment process including plan updates, employee communication and benefit portal updates.
- Participates in new hire onboarding and orientation to provide benefit orientations as needed. Provides pre-boarding benefit detail as requested.
- Monitors carrier electronic file transfer (EFT) of data to ensure accurate enrollments, deductions and vendor invoicing.
- Prepares benefit information and updates for status changes.
- Coordinates COBRA eligibility and processing with third party vendor.
- Distributes and tracks required annual ERISA, state and federal benefit notices.
- Assists with leave management; remains knowledgeable regarding state and federal leave requirements, and integration with private benefit plan(s).
- Tracks leave status, forms, and balances; calculates employee benefit contributions during unpaid leaves.
- Serves as back-up to provide counseling to employees regarding leaves of absence.
- Administers and promotes wellness program, including challenges, webinars, discounts and carrier reimbursements.
- Analyzes wellness program participation metrics to track annual participation goals.
- Manages monthly invoices for all HR related vendors and provides account reconciliations in a timely manner.
- Coordinates department vendor management program.
- Maintains company, state and federal required employment postings.
- Files annual EEO-1 and VETS 4212 reports.
- Files Worker's Compensation related claims and audits.
- Completes requests for employment verification.
- Publishes HR related articles and information on intranet.
- Assists in providing Human Resources related audit information for Bank audits as needed.
- Cross trains with HR team members to provide excellent service, and expertise.
- Assists with employee engagement, recognition initiatives, employee events and special projects as needed.
- Handles sensitive and confidential information with absolute discretion and sound judgement in all employee and business matters.
- Routinely evaluates procedures and recommends new approaches to continuously improve efficiency of the department and services performed.
- Performs all duties in accordance with prescribed regulatory compliance guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS Education and and/or Experience Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field preferred; or associate's degree with relevant experience. 1-3 years of Human Resources experience in administrative role. General knowledge of HR administration and best practices; knowledge of employment laws and compliance regulations. SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred. Experience with integrated HRIS systems, and previous knowledge of Paylocity preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel capabilities. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis.
