Human Resources Business Partner - LHH : Job Details

LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing organization, and they are seeking a motivated Human Resources Business Partner to join their team. This role will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, aligning HR strategies with business objectives across multiple sites. You'll be embedded in the business—participating in weekly leadership meetings, advising on workforce planning, and driving initiatives that enhance performance, culture, and compliance. You must have multi-site HR experience, especially with California law and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build deep partnerships with business leaders to understand operational goals and culture.
• Lead weekly meetings with business units to provide HR guidance and receive updates on evolving needs.
• Deliver strategic input on restructuring, succession planning, and workforce optimization.
• Analyze HR metrics and KPIs to identify trends and recommend data-driven solutions.
• Collaborate with recruitment teams to address staffing challenges and streamline hiring.
• Manage complex employee relations issues and conduct thorough investigations.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws, including California-specific regulations.
• Advise on compensation strategy and support leadership in pay-related conversations.
• Continuously review and enhance HR practices to support organizational growth.
• Participate in ad hoc HR projects and initiatives that drive innovation and efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 8+ years of progressive experience in Corporate Human Resources.
• Bachelor's degree required; HR certifications (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. employment law, including California.
• Proven ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of an organization.
• Experience in high-growth environments.
• Exceptional communication, analytical, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to travel up to 25% and travel between IL and IN sites regularly.

Compensation Range: $100,000-$130,000
