With support from the Manager and departmental specialists, the Human Resources Business Partner forms partnerships across the organization to support a positive and productive working environment at Aspirus St. Luke's. The role involves duties in employee relations, labor relations, compensation, HR compliance, and special projects for assigned employee groups. Ensures policies, contract language, and past practices are applied appropriately in supported areas.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least two (2) years of professional Human Resources experience.
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: N/A

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Ability to handle various situations with minimal supervision while maintaining confidentiality.
    • Work effectively under pressure, deadlines, and stressful conditions.
    • Knowledge of office principles, procedures, equipment, and good judgment in organization and decision-making.
    • Strong communication skills for explaining and understanding information clearly.
    • Ability to exercise confidentiality, follow through on directions, and prioritize responsibilities.
    Additional Skills
    • Intermediate reading, writing, and speaking skills for interpreting documents and presenting information.
    • Intermediate mathematical skills for calculations involving percentages, ratios, and basic algebra.
    • Reasoning ability to understand instructions and solve problems involving concrete variables.
    Physical Demands and Environment

    Ability to talk, hear, sit, reach, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform repetitive movements for an 8-hour shift in a typical office environment with moderate noise levels.
