Under the supervision of the Employment Specialist, the Human Resources Associate is responsible for screening, interviewing, testing, and providing Job offers to candidates, creating/maintaining employee files, and completing general filing. Monday-Friday 9:00am-2:00pm. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1. High School diploma or GED equivalent
One year clerical experience Pleasant telephone voice and excellent telephone manners Good human relation skills Ability to work with the public Good oral and written communication skills Detail oriented and ability to prioritize, organize and complete multiple tasks Successful background clearance, physical and drug/alcohol screening PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Screening, testing, interviewing and selection of Direct Support Personnel for Hope Residential Academy and Paraprofessionals for Hope Learning Academy; communicates effectively with Employment Specialist regarding candidate updates. Deliver verbal offers of employment. Creates employee personnel and term files. Completes general filing. All other duties/responsibilities as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above. OTHER RESPONSIBLITIES 1. Attends required meetings 2. Assumes responsibility as a mandated reporter concerning incidents of purported abuse/neglect of students as outlined in the agency's policies and procedures. 3. Maintains the Human Resources Conference Room, waiting area, and Office of Files, ensuring each space is clean and organized. 4. Performs other duties as required or assigned.
