As a critical member of the Human Resources team, provides administrative support for the Human Resources function; schedules and prepares materials for various meetings or for programs and projects championed by members of the Human Resources Team. Participates in the coordination and support of departmental programs supporting Staff Engagement and Recognition, Benefits, Recruitment, and Organization/Leadership Development. Maintains the HR Intranet to ensure staff have access to current, comprehensive information regarding HR programs. Acting as a face of the department, greets visitors to the Human Resources department, assisting new hires through the on-boarding process and current staff with inquiries. Assists with orienting Human Resources Interns and oversight of Volunteers.

Minimum Qualifications:
Associates degree and three years' administrative experience, preferable in a healthcare or human resources environment, or a Bachelor's degree in Business or Industrial/Organizational Psychology with coursework in human resources, or equivalent. Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft products: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, including advanced functions with charts and tables. Strong writing and presentation skills to produce high-quality internal communications. Notary public or obtaining notary public status within 6 months in position for staff who reside in Rhode Island.
