Job Description
We are looking for a Human Resources Assistant to collaborate with our client's existing Human Resources team to support an effort to ensure I-9 form completion and compliance. This position will be a full-time, 3-6 month contract, and remote. With employees expected to travel to local client facilities to occasionally provide onsite support.
Due to the specific legal and contractual requirements associated with this position, only US Citizens will be considered for this role.
What You'll Do
Collaborate with human resources colleagues and authorized representatives to provide project updates and coordinate verification activities
Identify and resolve incomplete or missing information on I-9 forms, such as signatures, dates of hire, or supporting documentation
Manage the categorization and uploading of paper I-9 forms into designated Workday document categories to ensure audit readiness
Collect required documentation and assist with verification processes, coordinating the completion of Section 1 and Section 2 as needed
Document the I-9 audit process, maintaining records of corrections, communications, and employee follow-up actions
Conduct comprehensive audits of existing I-9 forms to ensure accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance
Provide daily operational support and other assigned duties as needed
What You'll Need
Required:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a related field
3-5 years of experience completing, reviewing, and correcting I-9 forms
3-5 years of experience entering, editing, and filing information in Workday HCM
3-5 years of experience utilizing the MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
The pay range for this position is $22 - $25 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave as provided by applicable law.
