Position Overview

The Human Resources Assistant will provide administrative and operational support to the HR department, ensuring smooth day-to-day processes and efficient execution of HR activities. This role requires strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access to manage, analyze, and maintain HR-related data.
  • Create complex and visually appealing PowerPoint presentations , including charts, graphs, and infographics derived from database information.
  • Coordinate and assist with training class scheduling , including confirming attendees, securing venues, and ensuring all materials are prepared.
  • Arrange classroom setup for training sessions to ensure a professional learning environment.
  • Design and distribute surveys to gather feedback and data for HR projects and initiatives.
  • Perform general administrative duties such as:
  • Answering and directing phone calls.
  • Ordering office supplies.
  • Making travel arrangements.
  • Maintaining organized records and files.
  • Collaborate with HR staff to support projects and initiatives as needed.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of two years' experience in administrative or HR support roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Work Environment

  • Office-based position with occasional need to support off-site training sessions.
  • May require flexible scheduling during training events.
