Our Human Resources Department is seeking a Human Resources Assistant. In this position, you will contribute to the success of Rusnak Group by providing administrative support in key areas, as well as assisting with department projects and initiatives on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities
Effectively and Efficiently Ensures All Personnel Files Are Filed and Maintained Properly:
- Maintains and files all personnel, benefits, background check, and termed files daily
- Creates benefit and personnel files as needed
- Creates and organizes background check files as needed
- Terms employee files by combining personnel, benefits, background, and payroll documents to create termed folders
- Transfers I-9 for termed employees to termed I-9 folder, issuing a purge date, and tracks I-9 document expiration dates
- Maintains organization and filing system of the file room
- Deactivates termed employees in the system
Effectively and Efficiently Executes Key Administrative Tasks for the Department:
- Prepares documents and packets for new hire orientation
- Maintains and coordinates office supply orders within the budget
- Coordinates orders and product delivery with outside vendors
- Assists with managing the office phone line and voicemails
- Tracks and orders service award pins and coordinates award certificates
- Handles all shipping and mailing needs of the department, including inter-office mail
- Ensures the HR team has an updated staff directory
Provides Effective Project Support to Human Resources Team as Needed:
- Prepares materials and documents for trainings and meetings
- Assists with compiling forms and data for projects
- Supports department audits of personnel files and compliance
- Assists with updating employee information such as addresses and phone numbers
- Supports input and tracking of Employee Pull Notices (EPN) and termination updates from DMV & Vehicle Insurance Program
- Coordinates and executes job fairs and related activities
- Other projects may be assigned
Qualifications
- Must have completed some college coursework in Human Resources, Psychology, Sociology, or a relevant discipline
- Interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources
Bachelor's Degree: Desired
