Job Description Under general direction, the HR Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department and is an integral part of the HR Services & Talent Management team. This role will assist with recruiting efforts, onboarding, employee record management, and general HR functions to ensure smooth and efficient HR operations. In addition, the HR Assistant will provide support to the HR team and administer various HR Programs.   • Supports the recruitment and onboarding processes by administering background checks and ensuring effective communication with both managers and new hires to foster an engaging onboarding experience
  • Maintains basic knowledge of HR processes/programs and serves as a resource to employees and managers on routine human resources matters via the HR email inbox
  • Maintains records of personnel-related data in both paper and HCM Cloud to ensure all employment requirements are met
  • Provides administrative support to HR team including but not limited to: distributing mail, processing invoices, calendaring, etc.
  • Support career fairs, recruiting events, and talent pipeline initiatives.
  • Assist in ad-hoc HR projects
Qualifications:
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration and/or history of continuing education, job responsibilities or relevant experience
  • 0-2 years of experience in HR, recruiting, or administrative support preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Human Resources
  • Excellent interpersonal/customer service skills
  • Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and a self-starter
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong MS Office Skills (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint)
  • Positive attitude and natural aptitude for people
  • Ability to maintain highly confidential information
  • Familiarity with talent acquisition and sourcing techniques is a plus.
