Assists with Human Resources related tasks, recruiting, HRIS data entry, maintaining confidential files.
Assists with all employee benefit plans such as life, health, dental, and disability insurances, pension plans, vacation, deferred compensation, personal leave, and unemployment benefits.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSBasic understanding of human resources functions, including employment, leave, and benefit legislation; recruitment and onboarding techniques.
Knowledge of related computer applications.
Ability to establish and maintain quality standards, proofread, write clearly and concisely, and use office computer programs (word processing, database management, spreadsheets).
Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning employee records and information.
Effective interpersonal communication skills, tact, poise, and the ability to give presentations to groups of applicants and new employees.
Well organized, accurate, and attentive to detail.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTSHigh school graduate or equivalent; at least one year of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience in the Human Resources field.
