HR Assistant - Direct Hire
Location: Costa Mesa, CA
Compensation: Up to $26/hour
About the Role:
LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused HR Assistant to join our client's team in Costa Mesa. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 2-3 years of HR experience, particularly in workers' compensation and benefits administration, who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment, answering questions and guiding them through the process.
- Manage and process workers' compensation claims, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
- Handle HR paperwork related to onboarding, benefits, and compliance.
- Maintain employee records and ensure all documentation is up to date and compliant.
- Support the HR team with day-to-day administrative tasks and special projects.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of HR experience, with a focus on benefits administration and workers' compensation.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems (preferred).
