Position Overview:
Our leading Insurance client is looking for a HR Administrator with 2+ years of experience in Human Resources to support their HR team in various administrative and operational tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in HR and a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. This role will provide valuable exposure to all aspects of HR, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HRIS management. Please note: Workday experience is required for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
- Support new hire onboarding activities, including preparing new hire paperwork, coordinating orientation sessions, and assisting with employee orientation and training.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS system, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents and presentations, and handling inquiries from employees and managers.
- Assist with benefits administration tasks, such as enrollment processing, employee communications, and resolving benefits-related issues.
- Support employee relations efforts by responding to employee inquiries, escalating issues as needed, and maintaining open communication with employees and managers.
- Assist with HR compliance initiatives, including ensuring compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by the HR Manager or HR Director.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in Human Resources, with exposure to various HR functions.
- Workday HRIS/HCM experience is required.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic HR environment.
