Job Title: Human Resource Recruitment Specialist - Day Shift

Purpose:

Scope:

  • HR Recruitment Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for posting production and maintenance job bids.
  • Responsible for seeking out quality candidates, confirming their qualifications.
  • Create and publish job ads in various portals.
  • Responsible for reviewing job applications and conducting interviews to screen potential talent.
  • Responsible for scheduling second interview for potential candidates with production areas
  • Scheduling production plant tours.
  • Participate in Job Fair/Career Day functions for recruitment.
  • Coordinate with local high school booster clubs (advertisement)
  • Responsible for updating Kolbe Assessment Tracker Spreadsheet
  • Responsible for updating New Hire and Plant Tour Spreadsheets
  • Responsible for New Hire Orientation & Showing Kolbe Assessment Video
  • Responsible for New Hire Personnel Folders
  • Filing
  • Assisting Human Resource Generalist when needed
  • Assist as back up to the Training and Development Specialist.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate's degree in HR or related field
  • Technical Experience 3-5+ years of HR experience
  • Management Experience-None
  • 3 - 5+ years of Manufacturing Recruitment Experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others on a team and to deal with conflicts, confrontations, and disagreements in a positive manner, which minimizes personal impact.

  • Demonstrates basic knowledge of implications of individual impact to profitability.

  • Proficient in MS Office suite
  • Skills to multi-task efficiently and the ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Knowledge of sourcing techniques on social media and niche professional websites like LinkedIn or Facebook.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • This position requires awareness of Mt Holly's Environment, Health and Safety Policy/Principles. Incumbent must be knowledgeable of the environmental aspects of processes, activities and services in job area and appropriate measures to control impact on the environment.
  • Principal Duties & Accountabilities:
  • Support plant policies for waste minimization, demonstrate knowledge of the environmental aspects of the job and effectively employ standard methods to control impact of work on the environment to prevent pollution. Support department environmental objectives and plant environmental goals.
