Job Summary

Responsible for supporting administrative functions in the club. Responsible for participating in the hiring process as assigned. Facilitate and coordinate team member orientation, benefit enrollment, assist in updating and maintaining HR records, filing, and team member communication. Responsible for comprehensive scheduling processes and club payroll.

Responsibilities
  • Participates in weekly meetings with Center of Excellence (CoE) and sets up 2nd interviews for Club Manager/Assistant Club Manager.
  • Conducts new Team Member orientation and facilitates training for all new hires; acts as the on-site administrator of intranet-based training and communications system to coordinate club training needs (e.g., cashier training, safety).
  • Controls comprehensive scheduling processes for all hourly Team Members.
  • Ensures club payroll is completed accurately and timely weekly and maintains payroll records.
  • Maintains club performance management and disciplinary processes and logs.
  • Administers personnel paperwork including new hire paperwork, wage increases, promotions, terminations, workers compensation, and unemployment claims.
  • Supports club talent acquisition efforts by ensuring in-club hiring materials meet GOLD standards, communicating availability of referral programs, and partnering with local community organizations.
  • Conducts benefit orientations and communicates annual benefits open enrollment.
  • Processes LOAs in coordination with LOA Specialist and outside vendors; addresses LOA/WC issues and logs incidents as required.
  • Maintains Team Member personnel and medical files; answers questions or directs to appropriate resources.
  • Addresses non-complex team member relations issues or escalates as appropriate.
  • Handles confidential information with care and ensures HR communications are current and visible.
  • Gathers ordering information and inputs orders as needed.
  • Ensures GOLD standard presentation of breakroom and HR office area daily.
  • Provides support for team member recognition and engagement events.
  • Ensures legal compliance postings are current and performs HR self-audits for the club operational audit.
  • Attends meetings with Regional HR Business Partner and Home Office as designated; maintains HR communication boards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of this job.
Qualifications
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Prior Human Resources, administrative, or clerical experience is preferred
  • Basic computer knowledge (MS Word, MS Excel, Email) required
Job Conditions
  • Most of the time is spent moving about on hard surfaces
  • Occasionally may need to twist, lift, bend, pull, reach and move files or boxes
  • Frequent time sitting at a computer
  • Sometimes required to lift up to 30 pounds; may require assistance for heavier objects
  • Located in a comfortable indoor area with potential exposure to temperature extremes and loud noises; occasional exposure to cleaning agents
Compensation

The pay range for this position is $21.50-$26.88 per hour (pay is location-dependent and subject to non-discriminatory factors).
