Job Description :
Our HR Team is growing! We're looking for an HR professional to join our knowledgeable team! The Human Resource Generalist (HRG) will execute the day-to-day functions of the HR department in the areas of, but not limited to, talent acquisition, employee relations and leave administration. This role supports all aspects of the employee life cycle. The HRG will work closely with all members of the HR department and collaborate on special projects alongside HR leadership. The HRG will provide excellent customer service to all employees of the organization in addition to educating and enforcing CCP policies, procedures and work rules. Essential Functions include, but are not limited to:
  • Support Talent, Payroll, and HR teams with the administration of the HRIS system, new hire onboarding, staffing process, and new hire employee experience.
  • Prescreen candidates as they apply in accordance with internal policy and for manager review. Assist in determining if a candidate meets minimum qualifications and ensure equal employment opportunity. Provide support where necessary on scheduling interviews.
  • Track, collect, and review completed Candidate paperwork (whether electronic or paper) for all to ensure timely follow-up and proper closing of requisitions.
  • Ensure the necessary paperwork is completed for new hires and transfers, such as: I-9, tax forms, job offer letter, wage notice, background check, etc.
  • Coordinate with the payroll to make sure new hire information quickly and accurately moves into the HRIS system.
  • Assist with company-wide outreach programs, including preparation and attending job fairs, college fairs, networking events, etc.
  • Identify opportunities for improving the candidate experience and hiring efficiency. Contribute ideas, suggest process improvements, and document departmental procedures.
  • Create, maintain, update, and periodically audit various reports, spreadsheets and databases in relation to staffing, corrective actions, policies, organization changes, terminations, forecasting, onboarding, and new hire training.
  • Manage and administer leaves of absences including but not limited to disability, FMLA, PFL, ADA and Workers' Comp according to federal/state guidelines. Ensure paperwork is sent timely, completed, kept on file and communicated appropriately to the necessary parties.
  • Keep in close contact with managers during leaves and educate them on compliance as needed. Ensure their payroll documentation is accurate and entered timely.
  • Process and respond to all unemployment insurance paperwork.
  • Ensure timely preparation and processing of terminations including sending term letters and working with managers to ensure the appropriate process has been followed.
  • Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Navigate, attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Work closely with HR team members on various HR projects and initiatives.
  • Work with HR Leadership to meet workforce planning goals.
  • Stay current with all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements both adopted and pending affecting employee benefit programs, including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, PFL, ADA, SECTION 125, Workers' Compensation, Medicare, Social Security and DOL requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of recommended best practices and regulatory changes within employment law; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

Annual salary range: $68,000.00-$75,000.00 CCP salary ranges are designed to be competitive with room for professional and financial growth.   • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • At least two years of corresponding experience in a human resources department needed; experience within a healthcare setting a plus.
  • Current PHR and/or SHRM-CP certification a plus; must be obtained within 1 year if not current.
  • Excellent technical, multi-tasking and organizational skills a must.
  • Familiarity with ADP preferred.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion required.
