Job Profile/Summary The Human Resources Business Partner will perform all aspects of HR function with an emphasis in the areas of administration, compliance, benefits, compensation, recruitment, development and retention. As the HR Business Partner, you would be an integral team member of the Federal Equipment Company (FEC) business segment for a manufacturing company that values integrity, velocity and teamwork. Partnering directly with the GM, Director of HR and site management team, the HR Business Partner is a key member of the leadership team. This is a Fast-Paced, Hands-On role, responsible for leading the implementation of HR activities and initiatives. Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices to maintain compliance.
- Will lead recruitment efforts, screen and interview candidates, administer reference checks, extend offers while ensuring qualified candidates are placed in positions and all equal opportunity requirements are met.
- Administers and monitors leave of absence, FMLA, and other related programs in accordance with policies.
- Consults with employees and management teams to enhance employee performance, improve leadership skills, and implement HR related processes/procedures.
- Collaborates in design, rollout, and execution of HR programs. Collects and analyzes metrics and prepares reports.
- Investigates, coaches, and resolves issues in a positive and creative manner with both employees and managers.
- Assists with various benefits projects such as our open enrollment process, answering employee questions and resolving concerns.
- Supports the implementation of corporate initiatives. Embraces core values of integrity, velocity and teamwork.
- Be familiar with and able to work with a Ceridian Dayfocre HCM database.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills and Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related major preferred, HR certifications are preferred
- 3+ years of HR related experience
- Must be a hands-on professional with a knowledge of HR administration, employee relations, learning and development, compliance, communications, recruiting, and compensation/benefit administration.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects/responsibilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive information while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
- Ability to develop and deliver effective communications to all levels of the organization.
