SUMMARY:
The Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) Analyst administers databases, software, and computer systems used by the company to manage human capital and payroll. Responsibilities include analyzing HRIS systems, monitoring performance, configuring and testing new functionalities, extracting and building reports, and consolidating enterprise-wide employee data for compliance reporting. The HRIS Analyst also oversees user access, responds to support inquiries, troubleshoots issues, and may assist HR managers and generalists as needed.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Identify and recommend improvements to HRIS setup and data accuracy.
- Maintain data integrity and ensure consistent data mapping across HR systems.
- Develop, support, and deliver reports using appropriate tools for various reporting cycles.
- Support HR production/test systems and system upgrades.
- Maintain HR system interfaces.
- Conduct root cause analysis and resolve issues related to HR systems and integrations.
- Provide guidance and support to HR leadership, business leaders, and end users.
- Assist with HR audits, controls, and documentation for compliance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or an additional 3 years of relevant experience.
- At least 4 years of relevant work experience or 1 year of HR System Implementation experience, including 1 year of SaaS experience (Ceridian Dayforce preferred).
- Advanced proficiency with HR/Payroll applications like Ceridian Dayforce, Workday, ADP, UltiPro/UKG, SAP SuccessFactors.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, IF statements, conditional formatting).
- Strong attention to detail, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Basic understanding of HR processes and data requirements.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, focused on customer service.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with Self Service applications, Performance Management, Applicant Tracking, and Learning Management Systems.
- Experience with payroll, benefits HR systems analysis, design, development, and integration.
- Ability to work with third-party vendors and maintain relationships.
