Role Overview:
The HR Business Partner will play a crucial role in collaborating with all functions of the Business partnering to support the full spectrum of the employee lifecycle. This role requires a proactive approach to employee talent development, engagement, well-being, orientation and offboarding. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction, retention, and organizational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Managing Editor's office and department heads to understand business priorities and align HR plans accordingly.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, action planning, and recognition programs.
- With internal stakeholders to promote employee well-being through wellness programs, mental health support, and work-life balance initiatives.
- Full life cycle of employee experience in coordinating, sourcing, and monitoring recruitment, onboarding of new employees and check-ins.
- Lead the new hire orientation process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and positive onboarding experience.
- The offboarding process, including exit interviews and knowledge transfer, to facilitate a seamless transition for departing employees.
- Consistency, compliance, and efficiency in employee matters, always striving for increased employee engagement and retention.
- Implement talent development initiatives to support employee growth and career progression.
- Analysis to drive data-driven people decisions and implementation of best practices.
- Contact for HR questions, promptly and accurately responding to inquiries from employees and team.
- Implementing relevant HR metrics to determine the efficiency and impact of the workforce.
- Analysing data and statistics for trends regarding recruitment practices, turnover, and compliance.
- Data processes in the HR Workday system. Compiling reports of data results and presenting these when needed.
- Day-to-day administration of immigration cases.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in HR to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
