We are seeking a proactive and people-focused Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to serve as a key liaison between employees, management, and the HR department. This role combines daily hands-on HR operations with strategic partnership, focused on supporting employees and leaders across all levels of the organization.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a passion for employee engagement, and be skilled in both administrative and interpersonal functions. This role includes employee check-ins, walking the floor, coaching and counseling, reporting, badging, and frequent customer interfacing to support a high-performance and compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities:Employee Engagement & Support
Conduct regular employee check-ins to monitor satisfaction, engagement, and workplace well-being.
Walk the floor daily to provide a visible and approachable HR presence.
Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, escalating issues when necessary.
Coaching & Counseling
Provide guidance and coaching to employees and managers on performance, behavior, and development issues.
Partner with leadership on corrective actions, performance improvement plans, and conflict resolution.
Administrative & Operational Support
Oversee and manage employee badging processes, including issuing, tracking, and updating access credentials.
Ensure new hire onboarding includes all necessary security and identification protocols.
Reporting & Analytics
Run regular and ad hoc HR reports related to headcount, attendance, employee relations trends, and other key metrics.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Customer Interfacing
Act as a key HR liaison for external customers and partners as needed, maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Support operational teams in addressing client-specific HR needs or compliance inquiries.
Compliance & Policy Adherence
Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies.
Educate employees and managers on HR policies and procedures.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of experience in HR, with generalist or HRBP experience preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or customer-facing environments.
Knowledge of access control and badging systems.
Bilingual (English/Spanish or other) a plus.
Work Environment:This role requires time on the floor and regular interaction with both employees and external clients. May involve moderate walking, standing, and occasional lifting.
