About Our ClientOur client is a global software development startup with over 1,500 employees. The HR Specialist is an exciting opportunity to join their global HR team. This role is primarily focused on leading onboarding for all employees across the Americas. Onboarding takes place twice a month and includes new hires at all levels. The HR Specialist will ensure background checks are complete, manage the pre-employment checklist, coordinate with IT to send equipment, and serve as the initial point of contact for any employee questions. This role requires someone who is highly process-oriented and able to identify opportunities to make processes more scalable and efficient. The ideal candidate is creative and proactive in solving problems.
Job DescriptionServe as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding People policies, procedures, and programs
Provide support in areas such as onboarding, benefits administration and employee relations
Maintain and update employee records in HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality
Manage employee processes within company and departmental procedures, including relocations, internships, and visas
Optimize onboarding operations to accommodate organizational growth, ensuring employees receive clear and comprehensive information
Work on automating solutions and creating standardizations in HR processes to align with scaling needs
Collaborate with People team members to streamline processes and enhance service delivery
Develop and implement automated and standardized HR processes to support team and organizational growth
