  • Expected pay for this position is $22.76-$34.14. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.

  • Job Summary
    • Provides support to the Human Resources Department in matters relating to hiring, transfer, change in pay status, termination and benefits of employees, insurance matters, evaluations, and filing. Coordinates many special annual events. Maintains and coordinates evaluation process. Ensures appropriate licensure and certification for employees. Maintains excellent relations with managers, candidates, and the community-at-large. Assists Human Resources Leader with various projects, tasks and etc.
  • Job Specifications
    • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business or related field or three years' experience in Human Resources Management preferred.
    • JOB KNOWLEDGE: General knowledge of Human Resources Management and office management principles. Satisfactory mathematical, computer, and clerical skills. Intermediate knowledge of Microsolft Office Suite of applications and the use of e-mail. Must be internet savy and have experience with online databases.

      • Must be able to manage competing demands, accept criticism and constructive feedback, while being extremely adaptable and flexible.
      • Excellent project management, writing, and oral communications skills are required.
      • Demonstrated ability to recruit for a broad range of positions.
      • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
      • Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills.
      • Must have the ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures.
      • Ability to exercise tact, initiative, and good judgment.
      • Ability to maintain necessary records.
      • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of applications.
      • A commitment to strive for optimal skills and greater competencies.
      • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintaining positive working relationships with HR staff, MDH employees, Leaders, and others.
      • Demonstrates commitment and loyalty to the hospital and Human Resources.
      • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize in order to meet deadlines.
      • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
      • Must have the ability to work with a variety of people of diverse populations (e.g. cultural diversity, employee workforce, ages from adult through geriatrics, hearing impaired, physical and mental disabilities and variety of educational and cognitive levels).
