Job Description :
P-DPD-001 The HR Manager partners closely with the multi-site Operations and Client Project Lab leaders to ensure talent strategies are aligned with the business priorities and are effectively deployed across locations. In addition to site HR responsibilities, this role provides leadership and coaching to the site HR generalists. The role collaborates across the HR organization to effectively support the needs of the business while ensuring high employee engagement. This role reports to the Director, HR Business Partner. Responsibilities
  • Ensures the HR processes are effectively deployed at the site level (Talent Management & Acquisition, Workforce planning, Compensation programs, Employee Engagement, etc.)
  • Works with sites to ensure competitive pay, good working conditions, effective leadership to ensure high engagement levels.
  • Works with business leaders and site HR to ensure a robust successions plan are in place with development plans in place for succession candidates.
  • Analyzes talent trends and metrics in partnership with the HR organization to develop solutions driving business results.
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the Director, HR and legal teams as needed/required.
  • Provides day-to-day coaching to business leaders (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Works closely with leaders and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
  • Provides leadership, coaching and development to the site HR teams.
  • Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 8 years of HR generalist in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, workforce planning, employee and union relations, employee engagement programs, performance management, succession planning and federal and state respective employment laws.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effectively collaborates across different functions and levels.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
  • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution.
  • Adept at managing direct reports while actively engaging in day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, talent management, and organizational development.
  • Skilled at both rolling up your sleeves to tackle immediate challenges and driving long-term business goals.
Physical Demands
  • Must work from the office 5 days per week for team support and collaboration.
  • Occasional travel to other manufacturing facilities
