Southwestern Illinois College is accepting applications for the full-time administrative position of HR Generalist. POSITION DESCRIPTION In accordance with the Mission and Values of Southwestern Illinois College, this position provides professional consultation and administrative oversight to campus leadership and employees ensuring the integrity of Human Resources' structures, policies and procedures are upheld. This position is responsible for the areas including but not limited to employee relations, recruitment and on-boarding of faculty and staff, and special projects. This position will serve as primary point of contact for faculty and staff within designated areas district-wide, addressing any questions or concerns about HR policies and procedures. QUALIFICATIONS 1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or relevant field is required. 2. Minimum of three (3) years' work experience in HR/related field is required, experience with employee relations preferred. 3. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required and PeopleSoft preferred. 4. Must successfully pass a criminal background check prior to hire. STARTING PAY AND HOURS Salary Grade 3 on the Administrative Pay Scale, ranging from $52,150 to $65,200 per year.
