InterSolutions, a property management staffing company based out of Cherry Hill, NJ, is looking to hire an HR Generalist to support our growing workforce. This position will work closely with the HR team to handle offers, onboarding, HR communications, and other tasks as assigned by the HR Manager. Primary Responsibilities: Recruit and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions;collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for opening. Support the recruitment/hiring process by: o Reviewing and posting job descriptions o Forwarding applications received to the hiring manager daily o Sending offer letters and accompanying documentation to new hires o Initiating employee background investigations o Preparing and sending new hire paperwork to new hire;and o Scheduling HR Orientation with new hire to review new hire paperwork. Conduct or acquire background checks and employee eligibility verifications. Implement new hire orientations and onboarding. Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation;disciplinary matters;disputes and investigations;performance and talent management;and, productivity, recognition, and morale. Handle internal and external HR and employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and managers, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations and investigations. Handle processing of terminations. Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices;review policies and practices to maintain compliance. Maintain records of personnel-related data (payroll, personal information, leaves of absence, etc.) to ensure all employment requirements are met. Complete Forms I-9, verify I-9 documentation and maintain I-9 files. Track status of candidates in HRIS and respond with follow-up letters or e-mails at the end of the recruiting process. Produce and submit reports on HR activities, as needed. Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events, etc., as needed. Prepare new hires personnel files. Assist in ad-hoc HR projects, i.E., collection of employee feedback. Perform other related duties as assigned. Manage benefit processing tasks including new hire enrollments, life events and cobra. Education Requirements/Qualifications: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal, negotiations and conflict resolution skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization HRIS and talent management systems. Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required. Minimum (3) years HR experience strongly preferred. SHRM-CP a plus.
