HR Generalist in
Camarillo, California. As a
HR Generalist you will:
- Coordinate and conduct onboarding for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition and proper orientation as required.
- Ensure new hires have onboarding work equipment assigned like FOBs, badges, and keys.
- Create and maintaining employee records: keeping detailed records of employee personal, tax, emergency, health benefits, medical, training and performance information.
- Manage and administer weekly payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely payment of wages. Ensures accurate employee work hours, all deductions, and taxes.
- Resolve all payroll discrepancies and adjustments, like issuing refunds or collecting underpayments as needed.
- Address employee inquires related to payroll, including but not limited to creating final termination checks, W-2, reversals, re-issues, and stop payments.
- Ensuring union contract compliance in managing payouts regarding vacation, sick and holidays.
- Handle all garnishments, tax levy, and child support.
- Maintaining accuracy and integrity with employee/payroll records: keeping detailed records of employee hours, wages, and deductions in ADP/HRIS system.
- Process temporary employee hours and coordinating with staffing agencies.
- Update and handle all union and non-union deductions for employees.
- Ensure ADP timekeeping system is working efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have: - 2 - 5 years of direct with HR and weekly Payroll experience
- Union experience preferred
- ADP and Excel experience preferred
- Bilingual- English/Spanish is a Must
- Bachelor's Degree is a Must
This is a
Full-Time/Direct Hire opportunity.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM to 4 PM
