This role offers a unique hybrid opportunity, blending remote work flexibility with on-site presence during the facility's construction phase.Salary Range: $70,000 - 97,000Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.We are seeking a dynamic and driven HR Generalist to join our team at an exciting time of growth and transformation. This is not a typical HR role; this is a ground-floor opportunity to be part of the startup and launch of our new Product Company, currently under construction in Alabama, NY. Operations are expected to begin by the end of the year, and this role will play a key part in building the HR department and supporting the onboarding of our entire workforce.This position is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments, embraces challenges and ambiguity, and is eager to help shape the culture and HR practices of a new organization. You'll bring both tactical expertise and strategic thinking to help establish a high-performing, people-centric workplace.Key Responsibilities: Foundational HR Setup : Contribute to establishing the HR department, systems, and employee programs from day one.Employee Lifecycle Ownership : Lead onboarding, training, changes, leaves, and offboarding, focusing on creating an excellent employee experience.Trusted Advisor : Serve as the first point of contact for employees and leaders on HR matters, providing guidance on performance, policy, development, and compliance.Onboarding and Ramp-Up : Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires during startup and ramp-up phases, ensuring a smooth integration.Data and Compliance Management : Maintain accurate HRIS records, support reporting, and ensure compliance with employment laws.Training and Development : Assist in designing and delivering training programs for employees and supervisors.People Development Support : Partner with managers on performance reviews and development discussions; contribute to salary reviews and bonuses.Recruitment Support : Assist with sourcing, interviewing, and managing candidates.Culture and Change : Support initiatives aligned with the facility's vision and values.Project Work and Continuous Improvement : Participate in HR projects and process improvements.Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation, without posing a safety or health threat.
