Job Description :
Requirements: Experience with ADP WFN or Totalsource Five or more years of experience in Human Resources Bachelor's Degree - Human Resources, Business Administration or related field Responsibilities:
  • Oversee agency's recruitment, interview, selection and hiring process
  • Responsible for HR orientation for all new staff
  • Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to benefits, disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance, and safety training and development.
  • Provide assistance with administering company benefits to eligible employees such as medical, dental, vision and transit benefits
  • Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
  • Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Review policies and practices to maintain compliance
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Administer unemployment, disability, and workers' compensation claims
  • Handle leaves of absence - FMLA, Paid Family Leave
  • Work with designated staff in Business Office regarding claims, leaves and payroll administration
  • Locate and recommend trainings for staff
  • Write and update job descriptions
  • Review existing HR policies and practices
  • Work with Human Resource Director, Interim HR Director, Executive Director or Associate Executive Director on identified projects
  • Attend Management Meetings
  • Conduct exit interviews
