Check out our website for more information!PASCO's MISSION - To facilitate choice, independence, and peace of mind for families living with disabilities by offering a full range of in-home caregiving options, Medicaid expertise, and broad supports including advocacy and community inclusion.The RoleAs the HR Director, you'll be a key member of PASCO's leadership team, serving as the strategic voice on all employment matters, driving HR excellence, and ensuring regulatory compliance in the dynamic world of home healthcare. You'll lead a team of dedicated HR professionals and partner closely with operational leaders to foster a high-performing, value-aligned culture.Your work will touch every part of our organization, from internal people operations to external advocacy, ensuring our employees are empowered, supported, and performing at their best.What You Will Do
- Strategic Leadership
- Serve as a trusted advisor on the leadership team, influencing company direction, goals, and cross-functional alignment.
- Collaborate on strategic planning and service line development.
- Build bridges between departments to ensure holistic, people-centered decision-making.
- Team Management & Development
- Lead and coach a team of HR professionals including HR Coordinators, Office Manager, and Receptionist.
- Provide mentorship, performance management, and development opportunities for the HR team and departmental supervisors.
- Promote a high-accountability, growth-oriented culture grounded in trust and teamwork.
- Strategic Talent Planning
- Drives a forward-thinking, integrated approach to hiring, development, and succession
- Leads data-informed hiring strategies aligned with current and future business needs
- Builds and executes talent development programs that enhance performance and engagement
- Designs succession plans to identify and grow future leaders and ensure organizational continuity
- Operational & Regulatory Excellence
- Ensure employment policies, training, and practices meet or exceed standards from CDLE, HCPF, Medicare, Nurse Practice Act, HIPAA, and other governing bodies.
- Serve as the primary liaison for DOL, EEOC, OSHA, and other agencies.
- Monitor regulatory changes and proactively align internal processes accordingly.
- Act as the primary HR liaison with PASCO's legal counsel to ensure alignment on complex employment matters, risk mitigation, and contract compliance.
- Lead internal efforts to minimize legal exposure by regularly auditing employment practices, updating policies, and supporting investigations or dispute resolution when necessary.
- Employee Engagement & Advocacy
- Champion employee satisfaction, engagement, and retention.
- Drive continuous improvement in training, safety, and health initiatives.
- Represent PASCO in stakeholder meetings, job fairs, community events, and public forums, amplifying our voice as a best-in-class employer and home care advocate.
This position is a hybrid model. You will be required to come into our office in Lakewood, CO 3 days a week.What You Bring
- Experience
- 5+ years of progressive HR leadership experience; Home Health or healthcare experience preferred
- Experience working with diverse populations and field-based workforces.
- Strong understanding of employment law, healthcare regulations, and workforce compliance in Colorado.
- Education & Certification
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field strongly preferred.
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) a plus.
- Skills & Competencies
- Strategic HR leadership with the ability to influence executive decisions.
- Strong understanding of Colorado labor law and healthcare compliance.
- People-first mindset with excellent coaching, conflict resolution, and team-building skills.
