As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HR/TA Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Athens, GA. Position Overview The Human Resources Coordinator will play a dual role in supporting both talent acquisition and HR operations. You will be responsible for posting jobs, assisting with candidate sourcing and interviews, overseeing new hire onboarding, and maintaining employee records and compliance. You'll work closely with both the local management team and HighGround's centralized HR function to ensure a seamless and compliant employee lifecycle. Key Responsibilities

  • Post and manage job openings on various platforms (Indeed, ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Assist in candidate sourcing, resume screening, and initial outreach.
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate communications with candidates.
  • Support local recruiting initiatives including open houses and partnership programs (schools, veterans organizations, etc.).
  • Maintain accurate applicant records in ADP Workforce Now and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the process.- Lead onboarding for new hires, ensuring timely completion of documentation and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate orientation sessions and introduce new employees to company policies and culture.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate employee files (digital and physical).
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (FLSA, EEOC, ADA, FMLA, OSHA).
  • Manage updates in ADP Workforce Now, including job changes, time-off tracking, and benefits administration.
  • Support benefits enrollment and assist employees with HR-related inquiries and issues.
  • Collaborate with managers to track performance reviews and compliance training.
  • Assist with employee engagement, wellness programs, and maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Assist with timekeeping accuracy and compliance by reviewing and validating weekly timesheets in ADP Workforce Now.
  • Partner with managers to ensure technician clock-ins, PTO, and job coding are tracked correctly and submitted on time.
  • Track and verify commission data for field technicians based on job performance metrics and approved payout structures.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in HR, Business Administration, or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum 2 years of HR or Talent Acquisition experience, preferably in a field-based or home services environment.
  • Knowledge of employment regulations and compliance practices.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with ADP Workforce Now is a strong plus.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
