Position & Perks The role of the Coordinator, People Services is to assist and support the People Team with the daily administration for the seamless function of the HR department as a support office for our field operations team. Responsibilities
- Oversees the preparation of supplies for various employee recognition programs such as Restaurant of the Quarter, AOM (Associate of the Month) and AppleSTAR awards, one-year shirts (Managers), and Service Award gift program redemption tracking
- Responsible for various reporting and mailings including state mandated termination letters
- Support admin functions for employee relations; reviewing video, producing reports, inputting and updating cases in EthicsPoint Incident Management system, maintain HR drive case files ensuring all findings and case documents are organized and legal ready.
- Oversees HR audit process; updates templates, compiles completed audits and trends for each region, reports compliance needs proactively to Director of HR, and Chief People Officer as well as field leadership
- Compile weekly WOWvations report for distribution
- Manage Director of HR and Chief People Officer expense reports.
- Coordinates special training and employee appreciation events (including travel, catering, and materials) such as Week of WOW, Serv-Safe training, etc.
- Support Service Awards Dinners various times a year
- Drafts and announces all promotion and hew hire announcements for the company in coordination with department heads or Area Directors; creates welcome boxes for office new hires
- Maintains employment law compliance posters, Federal and State labor posters, and Doherty issued posters for all locations; ensures most up to date are available on The Loop
- Assists in identifying and writing standard operating procedures and guidelines, as well as process maps for employees and staff to follow
- Assembles and ships MIT and SIT books and uniforms
- Handles all Sundry gift needs for the department (Manager or Corporate sympathy, baby, birthday, etc).
- Provide general administrative support of the department such as copying, scanning, mailing, etc.
- Provide guidance and training for HR Department Interns as directed by Director of People Services & Culture
- Assist Chief People Officer with maintaining HR Leadership and Team Calendar Management in Microsoft Outlook
- Complete special projects in support of the department, as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline
- 2+ years relevant work experience in Human Resources
- Experience with UltiPro HRIS, Concur, Visio, Google Docs, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, a plus
- Must be at least 21 years of age, possess valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Employment eligibility to work in the United States required
- Restaurant experience preferred
