The Human Resources Business Partner will implement defined initiatives and initiate local action, initiating global guidelines and policies. The goal is to ensure compliance with processes and procedures and that Line Managers live up to their leadership role (i.e., performance, talent, workforce planning). The Human Resources Business Partner will also ensure compliance with the Labor Law. This position is a hybrid role based at our new facility in Bohemia, NY. Responsibilities include supporting managers in HR-related topics within global HR structures and policies, addressing local requirements and consolidating data to Centers of Expertise and Regional Heads, supporting and coaching managers in performance management, training needs, talent identification, succession and career path planning, executing local roll-out of diversity, corporate culture, and change management initiatives, supporting exit management and retention programs, executing employee engagement initiatives, supporting local workforce planning and recruitment, managing employee relations issues and investigations, discussing pay strategy and conducting job evaluations, utilizing HR metrics for decision-making, facilitating leadership workshops, and ensuring compliance with State and Federal Labor laws. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in management, Business Administration, or related field, 5+ years of experience as a Human Resources Business Partner or similar role in commercial or manufacturing environments, experience in Organizational Development/HRM, good MS Office and HR system skills, and familiarity with HRM tools such as Workday.
