Job Description Job Title: HR Assistant & Talent Acquisition Coordinator Location: Irvine, CASchedule: Mon to Fri (8am-5pm) 100% ON SITE Type: Temporary Pay: $25/hour Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Assistant & Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. This hybrid role combines administrative HR functions with recruitment responsibilities. You will support daily HR operations while actively participating in sourcing, screening, and coordinating hiring efforts to attract top talent. Key Responsibilities: Human Resources Support (50%)
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes (e.g., new hire paperwork, orientation sessions, exit interviews).
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support HR compliance by tracking documents, certifications, and performance review timelines.
- Coordinate employee benefits enrollment and respond to routine HR inquiries.
- Assist with organizing internal events, trainings, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Prepare HR-related reports as requested (turnover rates, absenteeism, etc.).
Talent Acquisition (50%) - Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and create compelling job postings.
- Post job ads on various platforms (LinkedIn, job boards, company website).
- Screen resumes and applications; conduct initial phone screens.
- Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate communication.
- Manage applicant tracking system (ATS) and maintain candidate data.
- Assist with offer letters, background checks, and pre-employment documentation.
- Support employer branding initiatives and attend career fairs or recruitment events as needed.
Qualifications: - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in HR, recruitment, or a related administrative role.
- Familiarity with labor laws and HR best practices.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS/ATS systems (e.g., BambooHR, Workday, Greenhouse, etc.).
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Discretion in handling confidential information.
