Position Summary The HR Assistant - Recruiting & Benefit Administration plays a critical role in supporting the full-cycle recruitment process and providing administrative support across a variety of HR functions. This position will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and coordinating the hiring process for multiple sites while also assisting with benefits tracking, attendance, and leave management. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about delivering exceptional support to both candidates and employees. Key Responsibilities Recruiting Support
- Coordinate full-cycle recruitment including job postings, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and preparing offer letters.
- Launch background checks and pre-employment screening processes.
- Assist with onboarding and orientation processes for new hires.
Benefits & Leave Administration
- Assist with the coordination of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, PTO, and workers' compensation.
- Support employees with benefits enrollment and resolve basic inquiries.
- Track and process leave of absence requests, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with company policies.
Attendance & Employee Records
- Maintain and monitor attendance records and assist with leave tracking and reporting.
- Support the upkeep of accurate and confidential employee files and HR documents.
- Help audit and update employee records as needed.
HR Administrative Support
- Provide administrative support to the US HR Team for various HR functions.
- Assist in planning and organizing employee engagement and wellness events.
- Prepare and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to recruiting and HR administrative tasks.
Qualifications Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in HR, recruiting, or administrative support.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of confidentiality and discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with HR systems or applicant tracking systems (ATS) preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience supporting recruiting efforts across multiple locations.
- Experience supporting benefits and leave administration.
