Description:This is an entry level position, and will involve auditing i9 documents for Nordstrom's HR department. Some experience is helpful and is a great role to get your feet wet in the HR space. As a Representative on the Human Resource Information System team, you will provide an essential service auditing Form I9 and compliance processes. The ideal candidate will ensure the accuracy of employee data, resolve employee issues, audit and correct employee level information, and support an efficient onboarding process. A day in the life: Support the business through the processing of compliance media to ensure that we are within our service level agreements Audit I-9 forms and supporting documentation via a third-party on-line application for completeness and accuracy following federal requirements. Perform E-Verify process to ensure employment eligibility Log I-9 and E-verification results into internal applications to track compliance and identify exceptions. Assist with inquiries regarding of I-9 supporting documentation Participate in and support various projects, as requested. Update trackers based on work completed Send communication to candidates, employees and manager using approved templates. Research and answer employee inquiries in case management system Ensure Workday HRIS, Oracle HRMS, and other systems accurately reflect employee information through audits, data entry, research and corrections as needed Ensure confidentiality and security of information being processed, stored or accessed Collaborate with peers to effectively address situations and resolve them within SLA Support and drive process improvements, including appropriate documentationSkills:administrative assistance, auditingTop Skills Details:administrative assistance,auditingAdditional Skills & Qualifications:At least 1 year customer service experience Self-starter and problem solver Task Oriented and motivated to produce results Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ever changing priorities Demonstrates a curiosity to investigate and resolve issues Excellent customer service skills, organization, time-management, written and verbal communication skills Experience using a case management system is preferred Experience within the areas of customer service, payroll, human resources, benefits administration, financial institutions, application support, or other relevant work experiences is preferredExperience Level:Entry LevelAbout Aston Carter:At Aston Carter, we're dedicated to expanding career opportunities for the skilled professionals who power our business.
